My Name is Leonard Dean

Welcome to my website.
.
I first started drawing and cutting vinyl lettering by hand using a scalpel knife of which I mastered and soon realised I wanted to be a signwriter. I have done many interesting jobs and I have now been signwriting for 40 years and I still feel as excited about my work as I ever did , I have met a lot of interesting people through my work and I have travelled all over the country signwriting pubs, working at Alton Towers painting figures and signage, I recently signwrote Theo Paphitis boat which created compliments and more work down on the River Thames. then for the Millennium I signwrote and hand painted Fashion Through The Centuries at the Pottteries Museum. Recently I signwrote the narrowboat LINDSAY which is an old working boat on which Prince Charles boarded to travel on the canal. I had the priveledge to be introduced to him. Over the years I have worked on many varied and fulfilling jobs a selection of which you can view below.
